Project Tenders / Integration & data use
Specific access.
A specific purpose.
Public information about the planned Gmail integration. This page is documentation; it is not a login, authorization endpoint or control panel.
The Google OAuth app remains in Testing. Production publishing, mailbox consent and secure GitHub secret configuration are unfinished. Cloud email sending is disabled.
Reports first.
Email as a later step.
Project Tenders is a private automation operated by Aidan Gleeson to identify relevant public procurement notices and prepare reports for human review. The planned Gmail integration supports relevant notification processing, prior-alert checks and delivery of a tender digest after a separately authorized launch.
Requested permissions
- gmail.readonly: read relevant procurement notifications and check previously sent alerts. This permission technically covers the whole mailbox; it cannot be restricted to tender messages by this consent.
- gmail.send: deliver tender digests to a configured recipient after the operator approves sending.
- Offline access: obtain a refresh token so a scheduled workflow can renew access without the laptop being on.
The intended workflow limits processing to tender-monitoring purposes. The public website contains no client secret or refresh token and has no connection to the mailbox.
